DWLR in Water Sector

Problem

Our Customer had a large order for delivering Digital Water Level Recorders for field implementation.

  • Their existing suppliers could not match the quality and price point required
  • Their existing design faced 25-30% field rejection rate
  • Their TAT for delivering the order was much tighter than their existing manufacturing capability

Solution

HIMTEK entered into a JV with our customer to exclusively manufacture the DWLR design that our client had to deliver.

  • We quickly substituted their supply chain by identifying and qualifying the right vendors for all components including sensors, cables, etc.
  • We setup an assembly line to manufacture the electronics and assemble the mechanical products
  • We re-engineering the product to zero defect and complete field acceptance
